“TrumpetBoy” is better known as Bryan Davis – a Trumpet player from the UK, now living in New York City. When not making music he spends too long writing about himself in the third person. Let me start again….
Hi! I’m Bryan… Thanks for looking in. I’m a Trumpet player first and foremost but have been enthusiastic about the internet, and subsequently tinkering with websites, since around the year 2000. I started out building websites for myself, then my friends and have since built a few for clients as well. Along the way I developed a fascination with Web Standards-based practices and working with WordPress; a fantastic CMS which is so much more than simply a ‘blogging platform’.
Since moving to New York in late 2009 I’ve filled my spare time with a couple of web projects which lead me to my current job; working with the fine folks at JazzCorner.com on their enormous roster of sites, making updates and redesigns, and dealing with all matters WordPress.
I still play as much music as possible and love attending the many Jazz clubs here in NY. To keep up with my musical endeavours, you need to visit my ‘music’ site – BryanDavis.info. I maintain (kind of!) this site to keep my ramblings about gadgets, technology and the like separate from that.
